[Space and Place] Shelter Made of the Earth's Own Dust

Still looking at strange houses, there is an interesting project conducted by Nader Khalili as reported in an old NYT issue: Shelter Made of the Earth's Own Dust. It is about using raw material to build arches, domes and vaults. Khalili studied indigenous structures and came up with these nices structures used by survivalist enthusiasts.
